About Opua Cruising Club
The Opua Cruising Club is located next to Opua Marina, in the heart of Opua in the beautiful Bay of Islands, on the east coast of the upper North Island of New Zealand.
Our Location
We’re located at the bottom of the Opua hill, right on the waterfront – you can’t miss us! You’ll also find our full address details and a map of our location on our Contact page.
Opening hours
In the evenings, the bar and restaurant opening times are:
- High Summer (Boxing Day until mid-February) 7 days, Monday to Sunday from 4 pm – all welcome!
- Summer (November to March Daylight Savings time) 6 days, Tuesday to Sunday from 4:30 – all welcome!
- Winter (May to October) 5 days, Wednesday to Sunday from 4:30 pm – all welcome!
Affiliation
The Opua Cruising Club is affiliated to the national body as per the Yachting New Zealand Constitution. This enables Yachting New Zealand to send you your membership card and communicate with you (by post and electronically) in relation to your membership (e.g. by sending you emails about membership benefits and newsletters).
