The Opua Cruising Club Dock
The Opua Cruising Club has a dock that has room for two vessels (as long as vessels park considerately) and may be used for loading and unloading or overnight stays.
Dock Bookings
Please contact the Club Secretary to request a Dock booking. The secretary is usually in the office between 9 – 1pm and can be reached by calling 09 402 6924.
If the office is closed, please leave a clear, detailed message on the answer machine with your request date, time, boat name and contact details.

Overnight stays are 24 hours from the time of arrival.
No bookings are required for loading or unloading and subject to a maximum of 2 hours.
Club Members can load or unload at the dock free for 30 minutes.
Dock fees
- Members $20 for up to 24hrs
- Non-members – $40 for up to 24hrs – max 1 night
Payable in the honesty box on the dock, or at the bar and office when open. Also you can pay by Direct Banking – details are on the board at the dock.
Water
Water is available from the dock and is subject to an honesty policy. Please be honest! We are a small club with limited funds, and we are charged for our water consumption. So please make a reasonable donation when you use water, depending on the amount you take (minimum $5 please).
Dinghies
Please tie up dinghies behind the dock with a long painter. The maximum stay is 48 hours.
Compliance
Please note that your vessel will be relocated at your cost for any breach of Dock Rules, including using more than one berth.
