On 26/5/2015, LoveOpua held a historic meeting. The trustees invited representatives from local groups to their monthly meeting.

These organisations behind the community-driven Opua Masterplan will present their vision for the town’s future at a public meeting to be held in the Opua Community Hall on Wednesday 10 June, 7pm.

7:30pm Neighbourhood Watch. Kevin Milne (Police) Gail Thompson (Love Opua Driver)

7:45pm Presentation from FNHL – Stage 2 development and suggested timing of project

8:30pm BOIVRT plans for the new Opua Railway Station and Cycleway

9:15pm Cycleway in Northland. Jacqui Robson, GM Strategic Planning & Policy FNDC.

9:30pm Update from Opua Business Association. Nick Webley

9:45pm Love Opua Programme and 5-year plan. Brian Hepburn
