The OCC Outer Distance Mark is currently missing, so the transit will be the start and finish line for this race. If by some chance the ODM reappears, ignore it for this race.

Please note in the event the course goes up the Waikare, the F&P rules apply re. keeping clear of the eastern moorings, not the current OCC rules. OCC boats please note the change!


The course number will be on the OCC clubhouse wall on the day. If you haven’t raced at OCC recently – some mark names have changed! You will need the new course sheet and course map.

Situation: A ridge of high pressure over the country moves away to the east this morning, followed by northerlies. A trough in the far west is expected to move across the country during Friday, followed by another trough late Saturday.

Thursday : Southeast 10 knots tending easterly this morning, then northeast in the evening. Sea slight. Fair visibility in showers developing this morning.

Outlook Friday : Northerly rising to 15 knots in the morning, changing westerly 10 knots in the evening. Rain, with some heavy falls, easing to showers late.
Saturday : Tending northwest 10 knots. Showers, frequent at times.
Sunday : Northwest rising to 15 knots. Showers, frequent at times.

Swell forecast to midnight Sunday – Northeast 1.5 metres, easing to 1 metre today and to half a metre Saturday. Northwest half a metre developing Sunday.
